Alfred Sirleaf, Monrovia's Analog Blogger

This video titled Motherboard Meets Monrovia's Analog Blogger is a couple of years old, but I just came across it. The description reads:

Each morning, at 10:45 AM, Alfred Sirleaf wakes up and heads down to his bulletin board to post the days news, culling together a slate of stories his countrymen might otherwise never see. Grateful readers line up in droves, on foot and in cars, to read these updates, in what has been described as the countrys—and probably the worlds—only analog blog.

And in the video, Alfred Sirleaf says:

And everyday, the events are unfolding, and you want to get informed! And get informed! We don't want you to live in darkness, because living in darkness means you are in isolation.

Inspirational.
